Jornalistando é um jogo educativo focado em simular a experiência da produção de uma matéria jornalística, incluindo a procura por fontes, coleta de informações, checagem de veracidade e produção textual. O perfil do público-alvo são alunos universitários de 18 a 20 anos cursando jornalismo entre o 1o e 3o períodos.

O jogador é o mais novo jornalista de um portal de notícias futurístico. Este portal faz uso de uma inteligência artificial chamada ALANA (Algoritmo de Localização de Acontecimentos e Notícias Avançado) capaz de traçar informações publicadas na internet para identificar acontecimentos e potenciais fontes de informação sobre esses acontecimentos. O papel do jogador é ir atrás dessas fontes, coletar informações e redigir matérias jornalísticas acuradas para conquistar credibilidade para o portal e para si mesmo.

Jornalistando is an educational game focused on simulating the experience of producing a journalistic piece, including searching for sources, gathering information, fact-checking, and writing the text. The target audience is university students aged 18 to 20 studying journalism between their first and third semesters.

The player is the newest journalist for a futuristic news portal. This portal uses an artificial intelligence called ALANA (Advanced Event and News Localization Algorithm)* capable of tracking information published on the internet to identify events and potential sources of information about those events. The player's role is to seek out these sources, gather information, and write accurate journalistic articles to gain credibility for the portal and for themselves.
